yes, HIV capsules can attach themselves to any T-lymfocyte regardless what may be happening in other cells, 1 capsule can attach itself to only 1 cell but since you have multiple capsules multiple cells can be infected at the same time

@BRI6418 Nanobots isn't coming anytime soon. Immunity, on the other hand, is very much present. There are people that lack the receptor on their CD4+ T-cells that bind to HIV and thus allows them to be immune to the virus. Scientists are using that approach and those people (by their consent) to try to make a vaccine against HIV and AIDS.
