The bandaid would be more hygienic than the rest of the hand. His finger isn't infected. If there is bacteria in the bandaid he would likely get blood poisoning and get sick pretty quickly. The bandaid is even coloured properly according to food prep regulations. Know your kitchen rules.

@AmbassadorAir if your aim is not to make antiproboganda on purpose you should better talk only about things you are sure about ;) that bandait has that bright clolour according to regulations... its produced special for this purpose being antibacterial etc...
