@funkeymunkey106 yeah i just wanted to run over and give her a huge hug and a kiss on her marked cheek shes so pretty thats why the kids all shun her and hate her they didnt know what a birthmark was then i think Sarahs life would be easier today and she could get it removed but it was a very emotinal scean

@wayzotoichi There were several other children's series (Children of the Stones, Moon Stallion, and one I simply cannot recall the name of which was Arthurian and ended with the Grail being swept out to sea) that were deeply spooky, but I'd definitely put this as either top or joint-top of the heap. It sets a very high bar for where children's television should be - and isn't. It is also sets a very high mark for child actors, science fantasy, and period drama.

@wayzotoichi Hotter than Jaqueline Pierce (Servalan)? You do realize you could be sent to the penal colony on Cygnus Alpha for saying that, don't you?

Excellent! Thanks so much for making the remaining episodes watchable. I can continue my life now without wondering "What happened at the end of Moondial!"

haha lol - moondial was the spookiest children's programme I ever watched, and I was glued to the television from around 1985-1994 - it probably gave me almost as many sleepless nights as Speilberg's 'Poltergeist' (when I was 9) and 'Ghostwatch' (1992).
