@kandahar0 Dalai Lama may be a pious man &"some" christians may support him, but I certainly don't, nor do thousands of Dorje Shugden Tibetans, exiled or western ones. Dalai Lama has the SAME characteristics of a typical "western politician", i.e. LYING for convenience, seeking money &help from rich & powerful nations, such as US/CIA and India to fight China in Tibet in his failed armed struggle in 1950's against the Chinese with CIA trained & armed "Tibetan freedom fighters".Thus, HE "KILLS" !

@kandahar0 I don't support ANY form of theocracy, even if it is Christianity let alone the Dalai Lama who is nothing more than a religious leader who also wants political power like many clergymen in Iran and Rome.

Human beings managing human beings is in the realm of politics, but using religion to manage human beings belongs to the dark ages. If one wants religion, he/she goes to the church/mosque/temple to get his/her fix there, but DON'T tell others do the SAME! That's my stand.

It just makes me sick listening to Dr Akiner speak. How can she teach at world leading universities in London if she has no inside knowledge about the country? I think that she must be made to live in Uzbekistan for a few years.

And how can Channel 4 broadcast this woman's speech when they get all the reports from the country. Having watched this video Channel 4 lost all my respect .
