There are few nice shots to be taken in the wash area, but nothing special. Go to the Dead End marker where you will find the wash going in deep canyon. It is not passable by foot, but the view is worth it. Along the way to or from this wash you can stop by the lake where you might get few nice shots.
Hiking Difficulty: Moderate
The wash itself involves a lot of rock hopping so watch here you are going. You might see few water snakes along the way, but most of them either run away of freeze on sight. This wash is not recommended for small kids or elderly.
Paved road: Yes, one small wash
Pass required for parking: No, not in front of the restaurant but park on the other side (or you will be towed) or on the elevated parking area.
