I like this early civil war performance, especialy it's a bit slowed down. awesome.
Whatever they might say about Adler,he still is a real Gunner, Matt was an arrogant fraud, look at the interviews with velvet revolver, he said GNR was someone elses dream , he should be glad that he was in GNR,ore else nobody remembered him. i'm sorry but that's my opinion.

Matt didn't have Adler's swing, he was a metal drummer not a rock drummer, ,and the sound completely changed after Adler left. That's a fact - Slash, Izzy, they've all said that.

@OrgasmicPotatoe If I could've had it my way. Adler and Izzy would have stayed in the band until the end. But we have Axl Rose to thank for them leaving the band. Steven getting fired and Izzy leaving 'cause he had had enough with Axl's diva-like behaviour.

from what i hear about both steven and matt sorum, both are great people and drummers. Steven did an awesome job on appetite as did matt on use your illusion.

@lman504 yeah ... but if u read Slashs book , he tells that steven was on drugs all the time and couldn't play at all .. and Axl made a deal with him that Steven can't come to the band rehearsal stoned more than 3 times moore ... and he came stoned 3 times ...
but don't get me wrong! Steven Adler is the BEST drummer Gn'R has ever had in my opinion , and he's among my top 3 drummers! :)
