Barcelona Keeper Pinto Charged For Alleged Fake Whistle VS Copenhagen HD

UEFA charged Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Pinto with improper conduct on Friday for allegedly whistling to fool an FC Copenhagen player into thinking he was offside during a Champions League game.

Copenhagen forward Cesar Santin was running through on goal in the 26th minute but then stopped believing he heard a whistle. French referee Stephane Lannoy allowed play to continue and did not show Pinto a yellow card for the alleged deception.

I'm a Barca fan too, but the team should definitely go out publicly and condemn this sort of behaviour.

In most leagues around the world this would be completely unacceptable, and feigning injuries and other sleazy behaviour happens once or twice a season. Besides, you can easily add Busquets to the list too, so this is something Barcelona, the Spanish football association (if that's what it's called) and UEFA should deal with.

Indeed, it's football, not some Hollywood studio. Real football is when you get tackled and get up again without moaning about it, or when someone's skull hits your nose in 50km/h and you wipe your nose and keep playing. Real football is saying "No, I did not go to acting school, I played football in the streets instead - and when someone got hit by a car - they got up again, because this is football!"
