SketchUp Concept Home Basement Walkthrough

This is the basement of the concept home I modeled in SketchUp.

A staircase to the main floor of the home follows the back of the curved wall. Natural daylight filters into the basement via a one-way mirror over the bar, which serves as a window into the bright living room flooded with light.

I wanted the basement to have a mid-century lounge / den-like feeling full of entertainment options. Despite its compact size, it has several functions and spaces including a lounge alcove, bar, pool table and dartboard gaming area, movie theater, bathroom, guest bedroom, utilities and storage, and a fireproof safe / office.

Furniture choices include Eero Saarinen Tulip table, Eames LCW, aluminum group chair, and shell chairs on Modernica barstool bases, Mies van der Rohe Tugendhat Chairs and Barcelona table, George Nelson Swag Leg desk, and various vintage pieces.
