@Crosscountry618 The four band members are Christian but don't like to "label" themselves as a Christian band. They want everyone to enjoy their music and spread a good message through their songs, no matter what your religion is. They often allude to the Bible, scripture, and Christian-related things because it's what they're thinking about & going through at the time.

Just to let people know, the members of Switchfoot don't call themselves a Christian band. They're a band that anyone can listen to and relate to. They are Christians, and a lot of the time things from their religion end up in their songs because God is a big influence. They do not want to put themselves in a box by labeling themselves as a Christian band.
