Don't forget the last verse of this poem
When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains,
And the womwn come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
Over a century after he was writing Kipling (check also "Tommy") he is still relevant.
To all the "Young British Soldiers" of today.....Good luck and come home safe!
