See America from H.H.H. #26 Iowa 80 Truck Stop

This is the 5th part of our forth video of our first taped trip and is # 26 Overall. It was the first trip of the summer, and we left Ontario California headed for Chicago and then on to Garden City NY (NYC). After a few days off, we are now heading back west, but up to the Northwest. We are hauling a load of hanging garments to Tukwila WA. In this segment we visit Iowa 80 Truck Stop in Walcott Iowa. Our favorite Truck Stop and now the biggest in the World. There was so much to film from this summer Adventure that there will be several more segments

boy almost forgot what the old place looked like. sure a big change. too bad didnt get a shot of fuel price. must be old video with all the cabovers around and the "dog barking" in the background. most drivers dont even know what a bird or bear dog is anymore.

Hey thanks for you nice comments. Iowa 80 was and still one of my favorite truckstops. NO Matter how BIG they got in size, they still remembered how to treat their customers. Back when this video was taken diesel was about $1.00 a gallon at Iowa 80 and in the 90s in Wyoming and the 80s in Oregon. Ya, I guess most new driver don't know what a "Bird Dog" is and more.
