i saw this about 10 years ago. so much remembers :o, when the Viper was the king of the world, i really hope that the next gen will beat every single piece of lambo, ferrari, porsche and vette of course. sadly, it would have TC and all that gay stuff .

This is one of my favorite races of all time. I saw this like 10 years ago. I remember the driver of the Turbonator stating that he wouldn't want to go up against a VW Bug for the first half mile or something. I love vipers and this was just such a cool race.

First of all, this is WHEEL DRIVEN- but the fastest speeds ever recorded on land were American. Air Force volunteers exceeded 1000mph BUT they were in(or on)rocket sleds at Holloman AFB... in 1950. No wheels- just special tracks and Wikipedia claims that it was then that the term Murphy's Law came about. Yet,wheels or no wheels: 0-650MPH in 1.8 seconds? How fast will you ever go?
