Another drums cover for Catamenia's die-hard fans, myself included.

I was doing some triplets and quadruplets on the bass drums and thought this song would be a good candidate to apply that. I know the rolling action in the original song is more melodic but that's the idea of covers, you hear the song form a different viewpoint - I hope you like it and apologies for any mistakes.

In this video I'm using two FD-7 bass pads with two single-bass pedals instead of my normal setup (one bass drums pad with double-bass pedals). Thomas Lang uses the KD-7s so I thought they must be good ;-)

This song is 120 bpm but the next few covers will be 200+ bpm, promise ;-)

Here are the lyrics for the song - quite pessimistic but hey this is black metal. The music surely brings lot happiness into my heart, so hopefully you feel the same too:

@12airplane this was a TD-6 that I picked for £400 off eBay then upgraded gradually (replaced the rubber snare and toms, added a couple of cymbals and added an extra bass trigger and the two pedals). I would say £800 for everything.

is that an electric drumset? coz damn those tom toms are really small if its accoustic...have u had any problems hitting those corners cause mine are way bigger and that always happens to me XD

Yes this is a modified Roland TD-6 electronic kit with upgraded toms. The toms are 8" and I agree they are small. If you're after an electronic kit and need bigger toms you can get a Roland TD-10 which comes with 10" and 12" toms and floor toms.
