HI, i am giving her kitten milk. tHis is how it happened, i took her out of the box to feed her. So i placed her on the counter were there was a little water and prepared her milk. While preparing the milk i noticed she was foaming. Since i had her milk prepared i gave it to her and she drank it. Just like that she stopped foaming. Weird. I do not know any organization that can help me i really do not know how to search for one.

Now, those are cute. What do you call those babies? Rats babies are kittens, and mice, hamsters, and cavies are called pups.

Maybe we need more govt. We have the Monterey Bay Aquatic Reasearch Institute (MBARI) and the Monterey Bay Aquarium bringing and taking most grants. That's great for the sea otters, sea lions and seabirds and stuff. But we have a lot of deer, coyotes, foxes, opossums and other wildlife that need help. We had lots of fires south from us in Big Sur so even more animals in trouble. One injured raccoon came in and killed my guinea pig. Details in the info, but shows how much they need help too.

@red4423 What kind of milk are you giving her? Please only use KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer), or Esbilac they can not tolerate cow's milk. Goat's milk is OK too. Could be a number of reasons she is doing that. When she puts her nose in the milk she could have inhaled some. She could be coming down with something else, too. Is there a wildlife rehabilitation organization you can contact? I was working through one when I had those babies, I don't raise them anymore.

VERY COOL!
My cat came home with a baby opussum on her back. She stayed for 4 months and then left. Her name is Luna and she visits once a month and gets a special calcium treat with a little cat food and veges.

Wow that is way cool your possum gets to come visit. I had to take mine back to the rehabber who released them but I don't know where.

No rehab funding here for land animals- just marine. So they get put down.
I did have to take the tiger salamander up to San Francisco to a research center because it is endangered.

Here is is all funded by grants or public donations, no govt. funding. Mostly the people doing the rehab get stuck with the bill but most are OK with that.
Wow bet that salamander was very pretty!
