it does not have as to compare they are different things, the Mirrage is one hunting of third 4 generation and gripen of generation.

@Cengiz78x U better do your homework U stupid fuck. The radarsystem in Gripen is way better than the Nato-standard radarsystem. But The radar system in Gripen was not Nato-compatability so SAAB had to downgrade the system for those who decide the Gripen. And for your information Gripen gave the best intell in Libya.

Mirage 2000 stands no chance against an F-16 or F-18 and underpowered Gayripen with a short range crappy radar stands no chance against a Mirage 2000. So the correct comparison would be..... F-16>Mirage 2000>swedish junk gayripen

@DINDRAGON First JAS did maybe just do 2.0 mach, but it has been updated with better engines many times..

@oiseautempete You obviusly dont know what you are talking abaut. Gripen can carry just as moutch weapons as any modern fighter today. Gripen carries a AESA radar witch is moutch better than Mirages, and it is faster and more flexible. Mirrage would probably lose against Gripens preddecessor, JA37 Viggen, this isnt a fair match.
