@pobomm Ya, there is absolutely no way i am going to miss an acoustic section done by Opeth

I think Philly (the concert I went to) got shit on set list wise. I mean, don't get me wrong, I still liked the set list, it's just that I wish the set list could have been better. and I don't just mean songs with growls, i mean better mellow songs like Windowpane or something.

@ajmadonna you have me there.

Agree 100%. Opeth, and in particular, Mikael - are musicians of the highest order. They have deep and diverse influences, cultivated over decades of study, with appreciation of musical craftsmen of decades past. If you listen to the band's reasoning for moving to a "non-death metal" sound - it is because they felt it was right. Mikael said he was not interested in writing more Watershed-ish music. He did not feel the emotion of it. It became mechanical...Mendez felt the same way.

@Iscarius9 The show was amazing, they sounded amazing and they played tuns of songs that they never have before. I'm a huge Opeth fan, so i didnt matter to me that they didnt play the heavy songs. I also love the new album, i cant stop listening to it.
Awesome video. Im waiting to see them here in colorado and cant wait. I think i'm most excited for the acoustic section though, and after seeing this video and others, the visuals look astounding.

@Mullseynga
Thank you! Credence is one of the classics and as soon as I heard the first note I knew I had to record it played this way. A momentous occasion if you ask me.
