ok, and how about gaming 3D in virtual windows 7???
-
@WandererOfWorlds90 It's because linux is under GNU Free liscence and OSX... You get it.
-
@TechSupport100 it's not instructional, just showing it off.

I hate instructional videos with no vocal explanations.

@tightlypackedcoil That isn't the Unity desktop in the video, that is Gnome 2 which does look quite similar to the Mac OS X desktop, which is just fine of course. Wanderer wasn't wrong about that. But yeah the word irony was misused.

@WandererOfWorlds90 Firstly, the ubuntu Unity desktop was designed long after Aqua, the OS X GUI. It was basically made as an imitation of the OS X GUI. If you've ever used the Unity desktop, you'd know that it is far from being nearly as functional as the OS X GUi, and needs a lot of work. Many supporters of Ubuntu are unhappy with Unity, and prefer Gnome. Finally, the only thing ironic about your post is your misuse of the word "irony," which is one of the most misused English words.

Can I connect my ipod touch to the mac virtual box
-
@kevluv93 it's not ubuntu that make it so hot, it's linux
-
@kevluv93 the only reason games and certain media creation programs don't exist (or there aren't any proper replacements) is because it's open source and some people think they shouldn't create things for it. If you only use your computer for web, music and video then ubuntu is waaaaayy better (in my opinion).
hahahahahahaha
Ubuntu > Firefox
Mac OS > Safari
Windows > Intern... [Google Chrome] (Y)

If you ignore the icon bar at the bottom of the screen, Mac and Ubuntu look strikingly similar. They both also share the Unix heritage. Quite ironic that one is extremely proprietary and the other is so free :).
