President George Washington also proclaimed this day a being a day for America to give thanks to God. Sermons ≠ News
God should not be involved in government.
Christians are just as likely to celebrate Thanksgiving as non-Christians.

@middlcr0 It's too late. God has been involved in our government for hundreds of years and from the very beginning during the founding of this great country. He has blessed this country and will continue to bless us once we begin to turn to Him once again 2 Chronicles 7:14. God is not only in our government but everywhere whether you believe He should be there or not and regardless of whether you admit or not. Anyone who is thankful, Christian or not is free to celebrate Thanksgiving.
