Our guest in Erik Larson, author of "In the Garden of Beasts," which chronicles the experiences of William E. Dodd, America's first ambassador to Nazis Germany in 1933.
@francisam1000 Indeed. What I admire about his approach is that it reads so plainly, as if it were straight out of someone's diary. That is a difficult thing to do, while remaining true to historical facts and figures. I, too, am grateful for his work.
This Mr. Larson´s book means really a new way to approach the III Reich phenomena. As a good reader of this subject, I thank and congratulate the author because with this work adds something very hard to get on the matter: freshness and with it a better understanding of the major issue that this events are in modern history.
Don't you guys hate it when your professor makes you watch an hour long interview? Sigh...
