very interresting and informative. watched it before and didn't really get it.. But I think I understand more now. I usually just sample a single note put it in an INST prog and that's it.. But With this method it should sound alot more decent.. Thanks dude. I'll keep comming back to this untill I fully understand :)

did you actually play the sample on a keyboard and recorded into the mpc? How did you get the clavinet sound into the mpc?

@nymantics KEYGROUP? YES, BUT MPC 2500 AND MPC1000 CANT DO KEYGROUPS ONLY THE MPC5000, KEYGROUP ALLOWS YOU TO DO FULL RANG PIANO ALL 88 KEYS

@Hamalakwath ...that is incorrect. have you watched this video? i'm sitting there using keygroups right onscreen and you're telling me only the 5000 can use keygroups...?

@Hamalakwath yes i know what you're talking about, and yes, it can do that. however, there is no jjos for the mpc500...go to the jjos website to read up on this stuff.
