Hausser did an okay job on the eastern front but did a piss-poor one in normandy in command
besides, he was SS, and part of a criminal organization, Rommel was not

Italian soldiers don't deserve their post-WW II reputation. Their aircraft were designed in the '30s and mainly deathtraps by the time the war began. Their other weapons were not up to Deutsch or Allied standards either, ex. their navy was built for speed with thin, inferior armor. Another basic problem was that Italy had not yet learned mass production. Henry Ford was an unknown. When an Italian vehicle broke down, a spare part may or may not fit. And finally, Il Duce, was beyond stupid.

hitler: then send 20 divisions to the border!!

Thanks for posting this video, very nice. As far as I know from the english books that I've read (that are not bias) he fought a clean and honorable war. The last great General.

Know why the Italians always lost in WWII? The troops would ask for more shells, but the supply QM sent them fettucine instead...Seriously, could you ask for a worse ally than an Italian...no wonder the DAK tanked...

I am sorry, I am not sure what you are asking. Rommel commited suicide, if that is what you wanted to know. Very tragic indeed.
