  • @Julius44bc Think about it also like this....There are some places where people cannot obtain actual slugs and is a great way to turn a birdshot load into a slug. You cannot get slugs in Great Britian.

  • Fantastic cut shell totorial.

  • Hi, I'm in Great Britain and I find that most gun shops near me only stock fibre wad shells, as we are going green and Eco etc. I would guess fibre wad shells would not be suitable as a cut shell?

I only say as looking at your shells the plastic "wad" looks like it is required for the cut shell projectile to work?

  • WE NEED A PART 2!!

  • @SilntObsvr I see - that makes sense. Thanks.

  • @chrisrusty99 Both Brenneke and Foster slugs will swage down through a full choke; there's no reason a cut shell or wax slug wouldn't pass through the choke just as readily. In fact, look for another video series by Iraqveteran8888, showing a .410 shotgun shooting .444 Marlin, .45 Long Colt, and ultimately .454 Cassull rounds (all of which are larger than the bore, never mind the choke, of a .410). Not recommended, but their example showed no damage to the gun.

  • What if the shell doesn't fit through the muzzle though? (like on my gun) Will the shell just shrink as it exits? Is it still safe?

  • THANK YOU so much for the video.... i cant wait till number 2 comes out

  • back in the day they were called finlander slugs been shooting them for 40 yrs

  • @IMBW89 who would shoot a deer with a cutshell when they have access to lead slugs? yea their safe too shot but not the best choice for deer and bear so don't substitute a lead slug for a cutshell if you dont have too.also, think if a guy cant afford a $1 slug to shoot a deer with than how did he afford gas to go hunting or a licence to shot deer? hes saying it for the morons that might try and shot a animals with them. theirs no reason for it this day and age.

  • lol he looks like jamies twin.
