can be done with a computer, but there's something to be said about the tactile a nature of knobs and dials. the controls are physically laid out in front of you, you don't have to argue with menus, keystrokes, and mouse gestures

@srgrimm13156 hey you should start building stuff again. you can sell them for alot of money and build up your own studio litterally and with your profits.im going to try to make a living out of it when I get good at it. and I;m just getting into synth building lol

To those of you interested in a sequencer like this, I should have information soon. I'm recreating the PaiA Gnome analog synth(with several mods) and designing/building a 10-16 step sequencer to to connect to it. I did this this years ago ( '75-'77) but have lost all of it in between several moves to new houses. I'm actually tinkering with the idea of building and selling these or to put them in kit form........If any interest, just message my response here...........Gotta love the analog stuff

I'm sorry, but for the first minute of this video it's nothing but footage of you plugging things in. Why don't you cut that part out?
