Episcopal priest, the Rev. Matthew Moretz, provides a presentation on the art of icons using the work of Robert Lentz. He also discusses the martyrdom of Saints Perpetua and Felicity. "Father Matthew Presents" is a regular web series based out of Christ's Church, Rye, NY (www.ccrye.org) which presents the treasures of Christianity one video at a time.

  • Great video but I do have one minor criticism though. You should be wearing safety glasses while you are sawing your boards. Remember safety should always be first.

  • I am an ELCA from South Carolina. Tonight (March 13), I attended a Lent service at a local Lutheran Church. The pastor's sermon was on Perpetua and Felicity. She is doing a series of sermons on saints whose date fall in March and April.

  • Ss Felicity and Perptua pray for us. Father, Don't forget to bless the icons!!!

  • So do Episcopalians believe in the intercession of saints? There is alot of conflicting views about it online. Is there a church position on it or is it up to the individual?

  • most eye injuries are preventable.

  • They both got their throats slit. Not a nice story. More like a terror story.

  • Father, you should get some clamps, cutting wood like that using your arm to hold it is very unsafe.
