its so annoyin how die hard storm fans try to make storm more powerful than she really is. Its never been said that storm was an omega-level mutant. JEAN IS ONE ! if you guys actually did ur research on jean/phoenix , you wud kno why phoenix wud beat storm easily.

Storm would win any battle with the pathetic pheonix. Shes easily hot headed, and prone to spilt personality disorders. Storm fully unleashed by description of her powers, could immobilize her by deep freezing, and knock her off into space by the mere wind. Lightning isnt her only tool, you know. it was confirmed as cannon that Jean and the phoenix force were connected to Jean and is NOW Jean, but when it was created, the Phoenix force was a shapeless mass of energy and life of the unborn. It took the form of the phoenix after seeing someone who worshipped it give it that form. It then connected and BECAME Jean...
