I've had a few enquiries re: this video so I'd just like to make it clear here that the performer in this clip is completely unknown to me. I just heard him playing at the West End Festival and thought of my brother, who shares my love for this fantastic tune (and movie). So I recorded it just to send to him. Sorry I can't pass on your compliments to the piper or provide sheet music. Maybe the piper will see this and identify himself!

UPDATE:
The lad playing the pipes in this video has been identified by his father as Gregor (see comments). He plays with the Dumbarton & District Novice Juvenile Band, who were runners up at the Worlds and Novice Champions at The Cowal Gathering in 2008.

The tune:
"The Gael" written by Scottish folk musician Dougie MacLean. Featured in the film "Last of the Mohicans" (used in the score by composer Trevor Jones).
