Its not boring, her style has always been this way. She's not the type to be bubbly and happy go-lucky, like for example Kabaeva. True the season has only begun which means she will probably make changes to improve the quality of her routines.

This music is dramatic, so it does not fit to be happy and smily. Anyway, this is Sessina's style, and it matches her very well...

Well all i can say about her... is beatiful! back then in 2009 together with bessonova, they were probably the only 2 gymnasts with the chance to beat kanaeva... Kanaeva being freking overscored (29's) and Sessina/Bessonova underscored... how i miss Sessina, she was the only russian with her own style and not a Viner girl

Solo hay 2 gimnastas que no son el molde que caracterizan a las gimnastas de Irina Vinner,Irina Tchachina y Vera Sessina de ahi para delante todaaaaaaassss son lo mismo,Kapranova,Kanaeva,Kavaeb­a,son lo mismo,le dan mas importancia a la flexibilidad que al manejo y elegancia del aparato!!!,bien por Sessina !!!

Kapranova had big mistakes in her routine. With a balance loss and a drop, getting something better than a 27.200 is very difficult.

I think that she had better hoops in other competitions, anyway I like a lot her style, her combination of elegant lines and expressivity (her new ball is awesome). I also feel atracted by her charisma when she performs with the proper music (for example in her 2008 rope).

I feel that Kapranova´s hoop routine was much,much better than Sessina´s in Budapest. 27200 for Kapranova and 27900 for Sessina was it right?? it seems that Sessina continues beiing overscored

She has never been able to figure out how to move with the proper balance of tensity and fluidity. The result is stiff, flat, and worst of all, insincere. But she does have her impressive moments here and there on her good days.
