Fall Out New Vegas Black and White Mode Glitch

Having been through Scorpion Gulch a few times before, this time for some reason I keep getting hit with some Black and White Mode glitch. Reloaded a few times and it happens randomly. The first time was from killing a RadScorp but this time it just happens. It seems to be part of the poisoning effect, however as you can see the scorp never got near me. I believe this is the case because if I reload a save it does the "cure" effect where the screen blurs, right after the load up.

Also notice the glitched 2nd RadScorp having no health bar after I begin attacking in VATS. This seems to always happen here to one of them. Usually its a Giant RadScorp but this time it was on a Bark.

UPDATE: Seems after a ton of experimenting, I think I may have found the problem. Boone decided he wanted to use a Thermic Lance I have on him, and it seems when he attacks with it it causes the screen to do this, but it seems ONLY against radscorps... wtf?

Just a cheap camera??? Every time I try to do that a bunch of lines run up and down my screen...help?

I had this happen to me when trying to get the Cazador eggs for the Bleed me dry quest. As soon as i got hit by one of the Cazadors evreything went black and white so I thought it was some sort poison effect. I drank some purified water, then when the effect wore out, my vision blurred and went back to normal colour. First I thought woah dam Obsidian has gone real life! but then I searched it up and found it was just another glitch. lol

Another annoying thing that keeps happening is that white/blue squares get blinking in front of some of the NPCs in the game. Does anybody know what this is or how to fix it????

I also have Boone as a companion NO Thermic Lance (me or Boone) and I have still experienced this glitch. I was fighting some fiends and one of them had a flamer. My other companion (ED-E) got really close to the fiend and I decided to step in and take some of the heat (literally). As soon as the fiend directed it's fire towards me, Black and White mode kicked in...I tried multiple things and none of them worked but eventually (about a minute or 2 later) I had color again.

Im playing it on 360. when it does this to me i wait an hour after the fight and the color fades back in like I just came off alchohol or med-x. it doesnt seem like a glitch I thought it was part of wild wastes.
