The CCEFP Virtual Excavator at Georgia Institute of Technology. This device is used to simulate an excavator's dynamics and the operator's environment while testing the performance of traditional excavating tasks. High-fidelity testing on the interaction between the human operator, the operator interface and machine hardware is also possible.
