I am not sure how our whole chapter is responsible for these actions. The national headquarters are not entirely the ones that monitor the actions of each and every chapter. It is a chain of command from Nationals, to regions, then separated into provinces, and then chapters along with their institutions' policies on the manner. I mean that is like saying my son was murdered by a police officer's stray bullet in the United States and suing the president. It's dumb sue the department."Cornell"

I think the 25mil is more of a punishment than a retribution. For one it sets a precedent if she wins. Then hazing will have a price tag to it when things go wrong. Then second, it says "hey, this is wrong, and it's important you know how wrong it is." 25mil gets attention. It spreads the word. I'd wager that a significantly smaller amount would not garner the same attention. I say the mom deserves to win

This stiff is crazy, the shit the rugby club put me through at uni... I still have flashbacks. Don't think the mum shoudl get any money though. I knew I was putting myself through it, and I'd imagine so did he. Most people don't die, they just pass out and wish they were dead the next morning. Just my opinion though.
