The ducks live in a place called Duckland. It's fenced in with a stream running through. During the day we let them into the larger yard and put them all back in the evening before it gets dark. This clip was taken in 2004. All the incubated ducks grew up. They are being herded back to duckland. The first batch goes back in, and there is a bit of trouble getting the second batch to go in, the goats in the way, and then a cat! Finally, they all go back for the night.

  • No mallards, they are Rouen Drake ducks and one Pekin and one Muscovy. Rouen's look like mallards, but they are larger, and cannot fly as well.

  • i have the same breeds, muscovy, pekins and rouens ... but i havent put the muscovies in with the other two*they were all peeps together, and the muscovies were adults when i got them* i'm kinda worried the older ducks will shred the youngsters. who are all about four to five months old now. it'd make life a LOT easier if they all shared a pen! I also do the same thing though, let them out during the day and pen them up at night. the youngsters will automatically file into their holding pen lol

  • I love them! their so cute! *sigh* I wished i lived on a farm...

  • Cute!! Do you have mallard ducks?
