i thought i replied to this. hmmm...well, the ol' girl was racked @ d&d's yard in redcliff last time i seen it....met a few guys who worked on it back in the day...all from medicine hat....looked pretty rough....i'm sure it's retired now.....savana probably bought it!!
I was wandering if any one heard the where abouts of old pd134, the original pipe arm in southern alberta back in the late 80's, used to be sierra #1. Did they ever retire her
slant riggin on 102 doing 2000m horizontals....going for husky when we're finished the horz. sounds like busy winter ahead...picked up third crew driller and have a crew of conventional hands...pretty interesting shifts with those guys.
yea im off that rig i was the motorman on day crew, lots of fuckin painting on that hitch lol it did look good in the end though. i was on roomates account for the previous comments by the way, you been working since then at all?
i was there too, on 118...but i was refering to 106 in this particular comment...you off 118??..i painted the pumphouse on that rig this summer when i was there...much to my dismay!!...mind you it did look HELLA GOOD when it was finished!!
the new slants are going pretty deep...I did just over 4000m on one..intermediate @90 degrees at approx 2500m then horizontal the rest of the way....intermediate can be a bitch but the horizontal section was good!! they new ones are nice but the Rostel drawworks were crap!!
