I think it was a bad move to have any manufacturing done in Taiwan or in China in the first place - BUCK KNIVES has always been an American Icon in the knife business. That + their lifetime guarantee is what made the company in the first place. Don't deviate from that or you are just another crappy WAL*MART knife supplier, as evidenced by the sub-par BUCK 119 knives with the Nylon sheaths that were made in China!
