How surprising: improvised explosives... explode. What inherent dangers are they talking about? Are they sensitive or stable? They don't mention what explosives are being used, apart from ANFO which is as safe as it gets.
You see, plenty of people DO know what they are doing through years of research and conduct these experiments in a safe way. We aren't all "kids" or "immature adults". It's always that small minority that fucks things up.

@caliusoptimus I have seen explosives detonate, I simply resent the comment that it is "immature adults" who are explosive hobbyists or whatever, and these guys pretend that they are simply professionals who get no enjoyment, they are no different from the immature adults that they criticize, except for that they get paid to play with bombs.
