Mohamed ElBaradei mobbed in Tahrir Square

ElBaradei, the former UN nuclear watchdog chief and opposition figure, spoke to protesters in central Cairo. An Al Jazeera web producer on top of a nearby shed filmed the mob surrounding him as he attempted to leave.

I'd be very skeptical about Mohamed Elbaradei. He is groomed in the West, former IAEA chief, went to law school in New York, won the Nobel "peace" prize, has lived recently mostly in New York or Geneva (not Egypt). He could just be another US puppet in disguise.

ElBaradei NEVER said Iraq had WMD's NEVER! This is just rumor. In fact, Omar Suleiman, the man Mubarak set for VP, head of intelligence was part of a project with the CIA, to torture members of Muslim groups and it was HE who gave the information that allowed Bush to lie and blame the fault on others. As a matter of fact, ElBaradei was the one who said there were no WMD's in Iraq.

Elbaradei is is goo for Egypt,no connections with Mubarak or the military,and is fresh,something Egypt needs.Amr Moussa is a Mubarak stooge and never opposed him,infact he was his foreign minister and then Mubarak appointed him Arab League secretary general,where he always had fun with monsters like Ben Ali,Gaddafi,Assad,Saleh,Kahlif­a,Mubarak(his boss),Bashir,and many more.

Criticism against Elbaradei is misleading: According 2 Art. XI & XII of The Statute of the IAEA “the Agency may send into the territory of the member …a person or persons qualified to examine the project…” & take safeguards. Inspectors ‘ve duties & responsibilities which they ‘ve 2 comply with. Countries like Irak & Iran which joined IAEA agreed on those rules. Israel isn’t member. Elbaradei wasn’t entitled 2 send inspectors 2 Israel. He criticized that Arab states joined IAEA before Israel.
