Adam pettys wreck was a fluke just like dales i mean they did have the hans device in 2000 and 01 but it wasnt mandatory there fault they didnt wear it

He obviously didn't have his grandfathers' incredible death defying luck during hellacious crashes...

Adam was on his way! I raced on the dirt in southern New Mexico and I have seen some bad images. This haunts me because Adam was my age.... I gave racing up and became a firefighter (first responder) These guys and gals need someone on the track that know what to do and when to do it. Why dont the owners fork up the dough and hire an elite safety team? Is it all about the $?????

@Gforcebond: Drag him out with a neck injury? Good idea! Looking @ him? Looks like extrication to me with a caregiver at the window. Most of this crew are full time Firefighters/Paramedics, also trained in racecar extrication and drill together. As ELITE as it gets! Adam and Kenney died the second they hit the wall. NASCAR investigators determined that they died by having their brain stem detached,where breathing and heart functions are controlled=INSTANT DEATH! Ez to criticize if u werent there

@Gforcebond To start have you ever seen a car wreck? You cant just pull someone out the car without knowing if they have neck or back or head injuries. Another thing these safety crews are not just rent a crew guys. They are all 100% Safety trained and each and everyone of them are either Firefighters or EMTs. I know one of the guys who cut Dale out of the car he is the Asst. Fire Chief for Hammond Fire Dept in Louisiana. So I give evey bit of credit in what these guys do to save lives.
