邦題：インド探検「聖地ヴァラナシ・ライヴ ガンガ編」
Live in VARANASI [GANGA] with India Exploration Field Sketches.
It composed of the sketch that had been drawn in 1977 and 2000.
The panorama sketch of the [GANGA] river was drawn spending about two weeks from the rooftop of PUJA GUEST HOUSE in Nov. 2000.
This video is one of the VARANASI trilogies.

聖なるガンガー（ガンジス河）のガートで人々が沐浴する光景は、インドの代名詞のひとつです。
ガンガーの対岸に昇る朝日から夕暮れの火葬場に揺らめく炎、そしてメイン・ガートで毎晩行われる祈りの儀式...
古代からガンガー沿いに発達してきたヴァラナシの一日を、スケッチで構成してみました。
ガンガーを一望に描いたパノラマ絵は、火葬場に程近いホテルの屋上から、約２週間かけて描きました。
2000年のインド旅行で描いたスケッチが主ですが、1977年の初インド旅のスケッチも折り混ぜてみました。
新旧の変化が垣間見れると思いますが、古代から決して変わらない、人々の祈りの姿が、そこにあります。
この動画を親愛なるガンガー女神に捧げます。
