DONE! We agreed and so we created our own Visa program in-house. You can simply transfer your old FIA balance to the new and True Tropical Financial Credit Card. Please feel free to email me directly at listening@tfcu-fl.org and we can get you started. I wish tropical would go back to the days of no fees for using publix atm's or any credit union who tropical does shared banking with not to mention any atm that uses the different markings on the back of our debit cards. These few things would save the members money and it seems as if credit unions are for profit nowadays.

If I understand you correctly, you are being charged for using your atm's at Publix, etc. I have never been charged anywhere by Tropical, even in CA. Please clarify what you mean because TFCU is the best for no fee charges.

If you've never been charged in the past then most likely you use Tropical Financial as your primary banking source and would find MyComplete checking as your best fit. In that case you still would not be charged a fee to use the Publix ATM. We really appreciate your comments, I can assure you that Tropical is still not-for-profit and we are always looking for ways to help our members in difficult times. If you use TFCU as your primary banking source you are going to find MyComplete Checking is probably the best fit. It still has no foreign ATM fees. No, never got charged before or now. I use Publix quite often. I do 99% of my banking with TFCU. I use the no service fee checking.

You have over $60,000 of my dollars in your bank in three different checking accounts and you are saying that if I don't use my debit card, or pay bills online or direct deposit 500.00 plus my balances you are going to bill me $10.00 a month. It's either that or I get the free checking with no real benefits at all. For the amount of money I have in my accounts you should be giving me free everything and I shouldn't have to do anything to get it. You just lost me as a customer.

Thank you for your comment. Under the new structure if you have the MyComplete or Student checking there are NO fees from Tropical to use any foreign ATM - even a bank (although they may charge you). Also if you use your card at a Publix checkout, you can always get cash back and there is no fee for that no matter what type of checking account you have. Tropical used to be fee free if a publix atm was used, but now they charge two bucks and that was changed some years back even though publix doesn't charge you. Check your statement unless you have a different checking account than I do.
