What Are Adult Day Services?

Adult Day Services (ADS) are community-based programs group programs designed to meet the needs of functionally and/or cognitively impaired adults through a variety of health, social and support services in a protective setting during daytime hours, generally five days a week.

Who Can Attend?

Individuals who are appropriate to participate in the Rosener House program include people with physical limitations, Alzheimer's disease, other memory loss or dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, heart disease, social isolation, or other age-related conditions. Generally, participants need some form of assistance with daily living activities or supervision.

Bringing participants together in a group promotes socialization, provides peer support, and strengthens self-esteem in a cost-effective manner, while easing families' constant responsibility for caregiving.

What Is the Cost?

Fees are based on the cost of service and consideration of families' ability to pay. Rosener House is much less expensive than other long-term care options.

We invite you to visit Rosener House to see if the program would be good for you and your family. Call to arrange a visit — 650-322-0126
