I loved your video! ^^ its very reassuring, I've been planning to apply for ages and finaly the time has come. I have one question: I know most people worry about failing the application, but if I did fail could I reapply?

Thanks for the comment! If you were to fail, I'd contact the embassy and ask for the reason and ask for them to please reconsider. Failing that, I suppose your only option would be to apply again next year or find another visa to go to Japan on.

You MUST be under 25 years ( not 30) and show you can support yourself whilst in Japan. You MUST also retain a return air ticket to Australia ( so you can be sent home if you misbehave in Japan)

It's interesting watching this video.

I've just recieved my WHV for Japan, and I didn't go into great detail in my itinerary or reason for applying. Nor did I tailor my CV to make it look like I'm obsessed with Japan. Infact, nothing on my CV was related to, in any way, to Japan.

I think a lot of people are under the wrong impression on what is 'required' when applying for WHV's. Also, I have no university education (apart from a course with the OU.) So that's not a requirement either.

thank you soo much, i live in australia and I have been working at a snow resort and have been told that japan has the best snow i will ever see. i not only want to go just for the snow i actually would love to come away from the experience being able to speak japanese decently. i was thinking i just needed to save and go to the ebassy. and i love how you threw a bit of humour in there lol =]!
