My understanding is that hegemony is rule through consent.
Can somebody tell me in 20 words or less what Chomsky's definition of hegemony is?

@OttoPharx I'm pretty sure he uses the word in just its standard sense, which doesn't particularly connote "consent". Standardly, it just means domination over others - usually used in a context where the dominating force is a state or nation, and the dominated are other states or nations.
