ACTUAL VIDEO: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/732063/Blackest%20Eyes%20WS.mov
Well, it seems you can't beat the sound analysis software without making a video like this one completely useless. So: this video has no sound, courtesy of Warner Music Group, and I am not interested in getting into a legal slap-fight with a record label about whether this sort of video can be determined to be of educational value under Fair Use.
I, as far I am concerned, would like to promote this band (Porcupine Tree) and this album (In Absentia) through the analysis of one component of the arrangement (the bass guitar), and have no intention of utilizing the work of several excellent musicians (Wilson, Barbieri, Edwin, and Harrison) for monetary gain. This content is intended for non-profit educational purposes (i.e. for the advancement of those learning to play bass guitar), and is protected under 17 U.S.C. Section 107 of the US Copyright Act of 1976. Do I want to dispute this in court with Warner Music Group? No, thanks.
If you want the complete video, I recommend using the link above-- it will redirect you to a download of the video that I could not post in its entirety.
