If the devil were a fallen angel, why would the Holy Spirit lead the Son of God into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil?.Jesus "was in all points tempted like as we are" (Heb. 4:15), but who today is ever engaged in discussion by a fallen angel devil?

well, archaeology "science" and religion "badwaystoexplainstuff" dont mix.. i love archaeology, and i love people doing real science, and i tend to dislike people who corrupt science ;).

a simple and quite interesting way of seeing things, lets all now "accept" a or a number creators, a or more beings that created the multi / universe some " to this day scientifically proved" 13.798 billion years ago.

and we, the 7 billion men and women of terra "earth" now believe in these or this creator..

do you seriously think that it even would matter the tiniest bit to worship another life form which is so advanced that it could on will, create time and space and energy?

so if the devil and the demons are non-existing things/beings, and no more then a reference to bad stuff which people do and bad stuff people experience, why in the name of SANITY even name it anything else then what it really is? i mean..is it that hard to realize that a sickness is a sickness and have not been and will never be no more or no less then a sickness?, and not some made up fantasy of a red, fanged demon which corrupts our soul and make us sick / ill / bad?.

who tempted Jesus in the wilderness?? or is that just metaphorical too, you have some serious problems if you don't believe in an actual lucifer/satan, you're calling God a liar. I don't mean any disrespect to you but if you are to call yourself a Christian this is a fairly fundamental belief, the scriptures are clear on the tangible person of satan who was the first to sin, who took a 3rd of the angels with him, who tempted eve, who spoke with God in Job. You cannot just choose to allegorize

Well i think it is interesting to show that a book written about 2000 years ago is talking about things existing about...2000 years ago. Like if we jump 2000 years in the future, we will found book about New York and we will found some remains of the city, but still no spiderman...

So Historical discoveries are great and necessary to learn about our past...But the legends are still legend.
