what is the make and model of that machine, avg daily production. I am thinking about buying a machine like that

It would be nice if I knew what I was looking at and could see the process from start to finish. What kind of seeds are these? Where does it start and where does it finish?

I want to buy similar or same expeller for soybeans, but soybeans have to pass high temperature to deactivate urease and tripsin inhibitors in the soycake. My question is why don't you use some heaters onto the barrell of the screw press, something like 120 C or 250 F. Isn't that simple and better? Have you tried it? I guess the oil yield will be much higher! Or it's too much and you'll burn the soymeal? Please tell me. Thanks.

We use a seed preheater to help raise the bean temperatures in cool weather. A press heater may work better, but our cake usually comes out close to 200F with friction alone. Press performance can vary with different conditions, but generally we've been happy with the yields from the current press configuration.

The seeds are soybeans. They are augered in at the top and flow down through a preheater, the tall metal structure. The green machine is the press itself that squeezes the oil from the seeds. The oil drops into the pan underneath. Meal that comes through with the oil is recirculated back to the top of the press and goes through again. The big drag chain pulls the leftover cake away from the press which is fed to livestock. The oil is made into biodiesel for farm use.
