One Little Minute - Zach and Isaac

Ten year old Isaac's mother brought Isaac and his older brother to Big Brothers Big Sisters because she knew that they would face many challenges growing up without a father in their lives. Isaac is a kind, talkative boy who wanted his future Big Brother to know that he enjoys looking for bugs and riding his scooter.

Zach volunteered to be a Big Brother because, being raised by a single mother himself, he knew the impact a positive male role model can have on a young boy and wanted to give back. Zach and Issac were matched in April of 2009 and their bond has grown very strong in the year and a half that they have been matched.

Zach and Isaac see each other 2-3 times a month and have gone bike riding, to the beach and to the zoo. Isaac's mother thinks this is a "match made in heaven" because they get along so well and are always laughing and joking with each other.
