The best parts were the "outside" pentatonics. When you have a very static chord like that, it's okay to stay "outside" more often and for longer. I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but check out some Michael Brecker, Jerry Bergonzi, Joe Farrell, and Woody Shaw. Those guys would outline everything but Amin9 in that situation...
