I was 8 when I first saw this. I'm 21 now. This is the only horror/monster movie to freaking terrify the life out of me to this day. Book was better.

They butchered the story for the movie :| The Kathoga was the tribe and Mbwun was the beast being the major fuck up...

It is a nice movie. Yeah.. yeah.. it has action. It has some decent acting of these well not A-actors. But neither Z-actors. It is all there... it is nice. Not to mention :) They don't show the monster that much.
