In 2001 A.D. the earthquake calamity in Gujarat

In 2001 A.D. the earthquake calamity in Gujarat created havoc and many children lost their parents and became orphan. On seeing the ratio of girls on high side, Rev. Bapushree arranged to construct a separate building to accommodate these girls and named it as Balika Bhavan. Here also free food, clothing, accommodation and lower and higher education are provided.
Proper care is being taken till these children become mature and self sufficient in life. Sewing machines have also been kept for the girls.
