There, fixed that for you. The goal was to make a movie of a flawless play through the game. He's the actor, and when he screws up a scene, he rewinds and re-takes it until he gets it right. Sound familiar? It's how most movies are made.

It would sound better you did the same flawless Yie Ar Kung Fu 2 except that it has SCC music.

@gblargg Damn, for a sec i tho it was real xD but is ok, and yeah, it reminds to the movies, but still seems pretty badass when fighting the las one. Lookin' the video without knowing of the savings runs out some adrenaline xD although is just a Nes game.

Seriously, your calm dodging there blew me away, I would have gone absolutely berzerk at this game that starts so nice but soon becomes 'straightjacket' difficult and frustrating. I wonder what super playtester freak at Konami said 'ok, now the difficulty setting is just right'. :)

That's kind to admit the video was post-produced... Even ILM could'nt have realize this in 6mn and 12 seconds...

Was it from scratch ?
Or are you simply programming your game saves?
If you build the emu from scratch, I'll forgive you for cheating on the video, otherwise I'll forgive you anyways, this game is unfinishable all the way perfect (Even Son-Goku can't with a Saitek or not;:/). ;oD

Wow, what was the api level(asm,c/c++,java ?) and the toolchain you possibly used ?
Nice job. Most of the time, emus rarely run at the same speed than the initial product... Your shot is pretty close because the animation/music match perfectly my recalls (I had a Canon V-20 msx). ;o)

Most emus are pretty good lately, even regarding speed, and better than the Canon V-20 I have right here with several broken keys :P
