My condolences for little Nia. I do understand the heart ache.
My Pippin and I parted on 9/26/09. We were together for 14 years. I lived for him, and he lived for me. He was, and is, my one true love. I am very lost without him always by my side.

I'm sorry I share your sorrow 6 weeks ago my border collie puppy got hit by a car and suffered a punctured lung she died the next day, 3 weeks away from her 1st birthday :'(

Even though, I don't know you, or your cute little puppy, I burst into tears anyway. I'm really really sorry. I just heard that it's more likely in older dogs, shame. It shouldn't have been her time to die.

She was so precious. She's in heaven with her wings and all the parts work. But she is always with you in spirit. I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost my little boy several years ago and I don't think you ever get over the loss the love they gave no matter how short of a time they were with us. They gave us a life times worth of love and so much more in their brief stay. My only consolation that we will be together again and that when they went we handed them into the arms of God. Blessings.

One of our border collies passed away over 4 1/2 years ago and we still grieve..... this brought tears to my eyes... We have 3 borders at the moment and love them so much....heart breaking to lose one....
